The Creative Collective are a full service creative agency specialising in digital marketing, especially in social media. We also offer branding, graphic design & print, strategy, PR & marketing, SEO & PPC, videography & photography, website design & development, domains & hosting and much more!

Started in 2007 by Yvette Adams, today we operate from the fringes of the new Smart City in Maroochydore, Queensland, regularly servicing clients in Brisbane and the Gold Coast; and also have an office and team in Newcastle, who service Sydney. We also work with clients in many other locations across Australia online, have consultants in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide, Cairns, Melbourne and Perth; and have even had clients in locations such as Japan, Korea and Iceland.

Our success has been driven by multiple factors. We were one of the first full service agencies to market on the Sunshine Coast back in 2007, and in 2008 were one of the first to offer social media training and services.  We have capitalised on being based in regional and fast growing locations. In the time we have operated both locations have seen enormous population growth and the markets have matured, moving away from traditional industries they were previously reliant on. Increasingly so, businesses have also started to turn to digital marketing over traditional marketing, and we have been there to support them with that transition.

We have forged and maintained a unique position in the market given our close relationship with our sister company The Training Collective (100% privately owned by Yvette Adams) offering clients the choice to call on us for their services, engage in training, or both! Though we’re most well known for our digital marketing prowess, The Creative Collective has strong capabilities in the development of professional brands & graphic design services and has an extensive brand portfolio to prove it.

Our designers and brand strategists have years or experiencing coming up with appropriate brand names, brand marks, slogans, and are big on providing our clients with a brand style guide on completion to ensure the brand can be consistently and professionally used thereafter.

We have extensive experience designing all sorts of marketing collateral including but not limited to business cards, stationery, brochures, flyers, presentation folders, capability statements, annual reports, visual identity kits, book covers, fence hoarding and menus to name a few!

Out of all of our services, social media is what we are most well known for, and for which we have the most demand.

With over ten years in offering social media services, The Creative Collective have devised numerous social media strategies, have assisted many clients to establish on social networks, will fix up social channels where required, have run tons of social media campaigns and have provided social media training to thousands of businesses through webinars, programs, workshops and in one-on-one consults.

For clients who are just getting started with social media marketing, we will generally start with a consult and the development of a social media strategy. On the other hand, for clients who are already started, but not sure where to turn next, we will generally start with a strategy and an audit, and make recommendations on what may need to be changed to improve things.

Most people start their search for a new product or service on a search engine, with a high percentage of people using Google. If you are not positioned on Google with SEO or PPC, you are missing out on a lot of business!

Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is the term given to the marketing strategies you can use to drive traffic from search engines (Google My Business, Google, Bing etc) to your website. When it comes to SEM, there are two main ways that you can get traffic to your site – Paid or Organic. Both involve working out what search terms your customers are searching, and then either implementing strategies on page and off page to appear organically on the search engines when users make those searches (a process called search engine optimisation which can take at least six months to produce results but which can be very powerful) or paying to feature on the search engines immediately (a process known as Pay Per Click or PPC).

Let’s face it. Stock photos are, well, stock photos. And home job photo and video shoots are, well, home jobs. If you want to take your marketing to the next level you should be using a high quality and professionally shot image or video. And in some cases you really don’t have a choice. For instance if you’re a beauty brand, you really can’t use someone else's product shots by way of stock imagery. If you’re a real estate agent, you need your own stock too. And if you’re wanting to capture an event?  Well people will know for sure if those shots aren’t from your event and it is all a little generic.

Gold Coast Super Clinic Pharmacy is an independent, locally owned pharmacy that is focused on family health. They are a community pharmacy passionate about the health and wellbeing of their customers and supporting the local community.

The pharmacy is located on the Northern end of the Gold Coast at Oxenford, within the premium healthcare facility, the Gold Coast GP Super Clinic.

We worked with Gold Coast Super Clinic Pharmacy to develop this mobile responsive website as well as a set of flyers to promote their services.

    Angican Care had previously managed SEO but weren’t clear on what results they were getting or what kind of return.

    The Creative Collective were initially engaged for some Wordpress website training, but Kat also touched on lots of SEO considerations as part of this, which got the team thinking.

    Fastforward, the company’s new website was launched, and it was time for Anglican Care to get serious about their Search Engine Marketing, and so The Creative Collective was engaged for both Search Engine Optimisation and Google Ads.

    Platinum Dental is a dentist clinic located in Nelsons Bay. Platinum Dental offer general dentistry services as well as orthodontics, dentures, root canals and a variety of cosmetic dentistry procedures such as teeth whitening and facial aesthetics and injectables. Platinum Dental had their brand and website already established, however they were seeking to build awareness of the newly launched practice.

    Huia Crosby is a naturopath, wellness writer, massage therapist & yoga instructor specialising in Herbal Medicine, Naturopathy, Essential Oils, Naturopathic Nutrition, Iridology, Hatha Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Massage Therapies, Dry Needling, Childbirth Education, Pilates & Zumba, based in Blenheim, New Zealand. She approached The Creative Collective to create her a website to showcase her many talents, and to answer prospective and existing clients questions, and enable the ability for them to buy products, starting with gift vouchers, direct from her website.



    The Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) is the national peak body for nurse practitioners and advanced practice nurses in Australia.

    The ACNP is active in advancing nursing practice and improving access to health care.

    We worked with this company to create a modern interactive website and to create a new modern marketing flyer.



    For an extended period we created all the websites + ran a number of online marketing campaigns for one of Australia’s largest dental groups – Maven Dental.

    Though each website were a part of the group, each were given their own style and optimised to receive leads in their location.

    This built up our experience of dental practice websites + marketing in a big way!

    Comment to Bot Competition

    Miss Cheri Body Contouring is located in Malvern, Victoria.

    The company specialises in fat reduction, cellulite reduction, body contouring, anti-aging, acne reduction and many other services with non-invasive, medical-graded treatments with the highest quality health & wellness packages.

    Miss Cheri and The Creative Collective worked together to create a Comment to Bot competition through their Facebook page using a third party chatbot system and the messaging features of a Facebook page with the aim of building the venue's brand awareness, level of engagement on social media, increasing the company database and giving the client the ability to send future promotional messages to people who 'opted in' by entering the competition

    From the 514 comments, 289 of these were ‘Enter’ and subsequently opting into Messenger Marketing. *Many of these were back-and-forth conversation or from page admin.

    Over the period of the competition, we had around a 63% increase in page likes - gaining +345 page likes

    The competition was a huge success and was great for furthering engagement and page likes, as well as building up the current database.

    Sunshine Coast Sports Medicine

    Dr Matt Dwyer has been a GP on the Sunshine Coast since 2010. Dr Dwyer has been the Chief Medical Officer for teams in the Queensland Cup Rugby League competition since 2008 and was the Melbourne Storm National Youth Competitions Medical Officer for 2016 and 2017. Matt is also currently the Chief Medical Officer for the Sunshine Coast Lightning Netball team and for the USC Spartans Swim team. Dr Dwyer has a unique insight into treating sports injuries, having played himself at a high level in a number of sports.

    We were pleased to work with the organisation to develop this mobile responsive Wordpress website.


    The Float Space

    The Float Space approached The Creative Collective in May 2015 for marketing assistance, in the lead up to opening the first and only dedicated float centre on the Sunshine Coast.

    Considering the target markets of sleep deprived parents, pregnant women, stressed professional people, athletes, labour workers, or simply holidaymakers on the Sunshine Coast wanting to have a unique experience or wanting to boost their energy levels, The Creative Collective devised a marketing strategy involving a range of initial website optimisations including the implementation of crucial Google Analytics and Facebook pixel tracking codes, search engine optimisation and an integration with Mailchimp and the website forms, and then embarked on a local & lifestyle media PR campaign as well as an extensive Facebook advertising campaign.

  • An average click through rate of 5.597% on Facebook ads (May/June = 7.266% + June/July = 3.928%) as compared to an industry average of 1%
  • An average cost per click of 0.36 per lead from Facebook.
  • Several key media pieces achieved.
  • In their first week of business the two pods in operation have been utilised 95% of the time and the company are booked out up to 5 days in advance and growing.
  • Total campaign spend net to Facebook: $784.29
  • Generated 2,455 campaign clicks
  • Reached a total of 38,197 users
  • Generated a click-through rate of 6.43%
  • The average cost per click was only $0.21


    Inner East Primary Care Partnership (IEPCP) helps to build strong partnerships to improve the health and wellbeing of residents across the Inner East of Melbourne in Boroondara, Manningham, Monash, and Whitehorse.

    We were engaged by Inner East Primary Care Partnership in June 2020, to undertake a two hour strategy session with two Creative Collective strategists.

    From this session, we produced an extensive strategy document to assist IEPCP in achieving their specified goals of improving social media use, producing clear organisational messaging and implementing other technologies.

    This document included a competitor analysis, a description of key influencers and partners, primary and secondary target markets as well as an overview of all current organisational assets. 

    The strategy document also included a number of action items to assist the Inner East Primary Care Partnership team in implementing their  chosen goals. We very much enjoyed working with Sophie, Tracey and Belinda and wish the IEPCP team the best of luck in the future!



    Therapy Connect provides online allied health services for people experiencing disability or delay in development that affects their ability to participate at home, in the community, in childcare, education or the workplace. These services currently include speech and occupational therapy, psychology, dietetics and physiotherapy. We were approached by Therapy Connect in early 2020 to produce an SEO Audit that would assist them in improving their SEO standing. This audit provided a review of the existing SEO set up, including website and page quality, Google analytics and Google Webmaster tools as well as the reporting of any errors found during this process. Our auditor also reported on the current organisational Google ranking for various keywords and conducted further keyword research to evaluate further opportunities for future keyword rankings. Lastly, the SEO Audit provided Therapy Connect with an extensive list of recommendations to assist the organisation in improving SEO rankings and organisational visibility. From this audit and the subsequent action plan, the team at Therapy Connect have been able to make a number of changes to their SEO strategy and are planning to touch base with The Creative Collective again in late 2020 to check on their progress. It was a pleasure to work with the Therapy Connect team and we have enjoyed watching them progress with our assistance.



    We have been working with Access Therapy, an occupational therapist who is NDIS registered and based in Western Sydney since June 2020.

    Starting by performing a slight rebrand to modernise their brand + some website updates, we moved on to creating a brand new Facebook page, and have since been posting on their Facebook page on a regular basis, boosting posts, and are running a small but targeted series of campaigns under our Social Media Ads Starter package.

    Ad campaigns went live on 15 June 2020 and in just two weeks from a budget of $357.61 on ads we have achieved:

    Reach - 50,962 (unique people)

    Impressions - 100,733 (of the unique people they may have seen ads multiple times)

    Cost per result was as low as 0.17 on the Brand Awareness campaign (exceptional result!) and up to 0.80 for the traffic campaign (with an average cost per result of $1-$3 these are great results!!)

    Frequency (number of times people saw the ad) varied per campaign but averaged 1.98 per person

    A total of 1105 unique link clicks were achieved to the website.



    As a Google Partner, we are well versed in all the nuances of Google - from Google Ads, Google My Business, SEO techniques, algorithm changes and strategies to ensure that your campaign is squeezed for optimal performance.

    Our founder Yvette Adams was even asked to speak for Google when they came to town, such is the strength of our relationship with them!

    In the past, we have been able to take over existing accounts and dramatically improve leads whilst the cost per acquisition.

    We currently manage over $100,000 per month in ad spend on behalf of clients with great results - many of our clients have been with us for over 7 years due to an ongoing high-performance.

    We also have experience in mobilising campaigns on Bing Ads which though much smaller in market share can also obtain some traffic and results and which is worth looking at.


    In 2019 two of our trainers - our founder Yvette Adams + Heather Porters were announced as two of only 8 Facebook Community Trainers across Australia and New Zealand. This has required both Yvette & Heather to engage in intensive and specialised training with Facebook and since then they been delivering the “Facebook Community Boost” program to hundreds of small businesses in Australia.

    Our relationship with Facebook Australia is now so strong, they approached us to assist them to develop and deliver a series of x5 events on their behalf across regional Queensland as part of Queensland Small Business Week in May 2019.

    Suffice to say, when it comes to knowing what the latest & greatest techniques are on Facebook and its family of apps (Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger & Audience Content Network) we're leading in this space!


    As an official ManyChat Agency Partner, we're building on top of the #1 bot platform on Facebook Messenger and getting some exceptional results for our clients in this space.

    We are regularly called on as a media commentator and Yvette has her own radio show on social media which airs bi-weekly on ABC Sunshine Coast and is the presenter of a show called 'Young Entrepreneurs' showcasing young entrepreneurs aged 12-25 years which can be viewed on an app called BizVersity available for download from the App Store or Google Play.
